1.The first time appointment:
– Dentist examination and assessment
– Take 3D CT or Panorama films to evaluate the relationship between wisdom teeth and important anatomical organizations.
– Remove tartar/Cleaning and treatment gingivitis if there is infection
– Prescribe antibiotics + anti-inflammatory drugs to take 1-2 days before surgery (If you are in the stage of swelling, pain, and severe infection)
- The second time appointment:
– Local anesthesia by machine
– Centrifuge blood to create plasma and put it in the area after wisdom tooth extraction to help stop bleeding and speed up healing (Advise patients in advance)
– Wisdom tooth extraction by machine
– Closing stitches after surgery (If necessary)
– Apply ice and rest after surgery at the clinic
- The 3th time appointment: Check wound healing and remove stitches if they are not dissolved. (This appointment is not necessary if the patient is stable)
Note: The first time appointment and the second time appointment can be at the same time if the tooth condition is not serious, not infected… Surgery can be performed at the time of the first visit.
